- Contact details you provide when requesting a demo or contacting us — your name, email address, phone number and business name.
- Platform data entered by businesses who use the Finish Logic quoting platform — such as job measurements, quotes, product specifications and customer records.
- Technical data automatically collected when you visit our website — such as your IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited.

- To respond to demo requests and enquiries.
- To provide, operate and maintain the Finish Logic platform.
- To improve our products, services and website.
- To communicate with you about your account, updates or support.

- Service providers who help us operate the platform — for example our hosting provider (Vercel) and database provider (Supabase). These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

Where information is processed outside South Africa, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection as required by POPIA.
6. How we protect your information
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls and secure cloud infrastructure — to safeguard your personal information against loss, unauthorised access or disclosure.
7. How long we keep it
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this policy, or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We keep this to a minimum. Cookies and browser storage on this website fall into two groups:
- Strictly necessary — a small amount of browser storage used to remember your cookie choice and, if you start a demo request, to hold the details of how you reached us so we can attribute the enquiry. These are set without consent because the site cannot work correctly without them, and they are never used for advertising.
- Advertising and measurement — set only if you accept them. We use Google Ads conversion tracking to see which of our adverts lead to a demo request. This tells us that a request came from a particular advert; it is not used to build a profile of you, and we do not sell your information.
When you first visit, you are asked to accept or decline the advertising cookies. If you decline, or simply ignore the notice, no advertising or measurement cookies are set and no data is shared with Google. Declining does not limit any part of this website.
You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will make the notice appear again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
9. Demo requests
When you submit the demo request form we collect your name and email address, and optionally your business name, phone number, what you quote and any message you add. We also record how you reached the site (for example an advert click identifier or referring page), so we know which of our marketing is working.
We use these details only to contact you about the demo you asked for and to keep a record of the enquiry. They are stored in our database, which is not publicly readable, and are not sold or shared for anyone else's marketing.
10. Your rights
Subject to POPIA, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request that we correct or update inaccurate information.
- Request that we delete your information, where appropriate.
- Object to the processing of your information.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (see our POPIA notice).
